Hello, I’m Robb

I solemnized my first wedding in the summer of 2008, when a colleague asked me to officiate her ceremony. That one day opened a door I never expected. More than 1,800 ceremonies later, I still bring the same humility and joy to every couple that I felt at that very first wedding.

Before ceremonies, I spent 20 years as a flight attendant. Airline life taught me to make people feel welcome, stay calm when plans change and bring a little lightness to big moments. It also gave me a fine eye for detail. Making sure the dress and veil fall just right, that you’re standing where your photographer gets the best shots, and that the processional flows beautifully from the first step to the last.

I believe the ceremony is the heart of the wedding day, and that it can be personal, elegant and, most of all, fun. I take the time to listen to your story, then help you choose the vows, readings and rituals that reflect your journey together, whether it’s a grand celebration or a simple backyard gathering. Couples often tell me I bring a sense of calm, which is exactly what I hope you’ll feel.

Love comes in every form. Traditional or contemporary, religious or secular, multi-faith, cross-cultural or same-sex, in English, in French or both, I love honouring your families and traditions side by side. On the day, I work hand in hand with your venue, planner and other vendors. I’m punctual, I reply quickly, and with empathy and a good sense of humour, I help everyone feel welcome and at ease.

I was honoured to be named Most Popular Wedding Officiant in Toronto and Canada by the Wedding Industry Experts Awards in 2013 and 2014. I’m credentialed by Angels of the Earth Interfaith Community.
